Biography

Susan A. Laney was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1973. Laney, a Francis McCommon Portfolio Scholarship recipient, received a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1996. Her work in photography is based in alternative processes.

Laney's work has been shown in galleries throughout the United States. She has received numerous awards for her work as well as being included in Photographers Forum, Spring, 1997. She is represented by the Jack Leigh Gallery in Savannah, Georgia where she is currently Gallery Director.
