Susan A. Laney's large format images incorporate herself
and others in figurative studies where dreams and the subconscious
are explored in an ongoing visual narrative.
Her prints are a rich interplay of platinum / palladium
with a gum bichromate layer. Laney works very large in order to
emphasize the unique hand applied quality of coating the emulsion
onto the watercolor paper.
